This short film was commissioned on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of The Jesse H. Jones Hall for the Performing Arts. The hall is named after Jesse H. Jones, who made his fortune in Houston. Before his death, he expressed his vision for a world-class performing arts hall in Houston to his nephew John T. Jones. After Jesse's death, John T. Jones helped realize his uncle's vision by leading the effort to construct Jones Hall. This short film explores some of the highlights of Jesse H. Jones' life and career, the construction of Jones Hall and its lasting impact on Houston, Texas.
